DBTA Talks with Kore About the Significance of Kourier Integrator Release 4.5
Latest Update Enhances Cloud Capabilities and Performance
DBTA recently talked with Kore's Mark Dobransky (co-founder and managing partner) and Keith Lambert (VP, marketing and business development) to chat about what's new and exciting in Release 4.5 of Kourier Integrator and why the new features are significant.
Users will see new benefits for Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. The update provides enhanced functionality and higher performance when doing integration and data warehousing with Microsoft SQL Server in the cloud.
“This really is important because with a lot of our clients and what we see in the field, more people are putting their data warehouses in the cloud,” said Keith Lambert, VP, Marketing and business development at Kore. “Because of that we made some improvements to the product to have the best performance, optimize how it works, and increase functionality so users can take advantage of our software in that environment.”
Microsoft SQL Server 2017 is supported in this release in addition to other performance and product improvements. For example, loading SQL databases from ODBC (non-UniData/UniVerse) data sources is significantly faster. Also, Kourier REST offers extended JSON support with more robust Swagger API documentation.
